I Have a Blog?

Has it already been 6 months since the last time I posted? I can't believe I am such a slacker. I just spent the last hour putting all the pictures from my phone onto the computer, so I wanted to share some of my most favorite pictures from the last few months. Warning: most of them are pictures of Odin, because lets face it, he is the one I spend all my time with.
Odin's first hair cut (back in August) Before shot
After haircut
New shoes (back in August... they dont fit anymore :( )
Skateboarding
We love the park
All of his favorite things
We went on a hike to Forest Falls
He climbs up on EVERYTHING
Ready for our morning walk on a cold day
At the museum with the Durrs. I hope Odin gets over his fear of Sawyer's voice (he cries everytime Sawyer, or any kid, does anything)
Birthday dinner for Grandpa at PF Changs
We love going to Grandma's house
Daddy and Odin time
Odin loves being chased by the vacuum

Cousins

Building houses
at the beach (the babies didnt have as much fun as the rest of us)
playing with aunt Jill
eating out A LOT
and at the end of every day, Odin was so tired
While everyone was here for Matt's homecoming, Odin got to play with all of his cousins. And there are A LOT. At first, he was a little nervous around so many kids, but he warmed up quickly. We are so grateful to have so many fun cousins.

Elder Stewart is Home!

After 2 years of serving a mission in Brazil, Matt is home!!! I, of course, missed him the most and have been so exited about his homecoming. Mom, Dad, Elizabeth (sister), her husband Tyler, and nephew Drew were lucky enough to go to Brazil to pick him up (jealous!). The rest of us went to LAX to welcome them home. It was great! Signs were made, tie-dye shirts were being worn, and 26 people stood there waiting. For an hour. But, they finally made their way to us, hugs were given, tears were shed. All in all, it was great. Welcome home Matt!

6 Months!

Some things our little man is doing these days:
• Army crawling! Odin is everywhere and loves to find the DVDs. He
almost has the hands and knees crawling down.
• Teething. I was actually hoping he would be one of those babies
that didn't get teeth until a year old (I know, I am selfish) but he
started teething a few weeks ago. It is the two on the bottom, and oh
my goodness, it took a lot out of him to push these teeth through.
• He's a talker. From the moment he wakes up in the morning, until I
put him to bed at night, he is making some kind of noise. Usually it
is a high pitch squeel or "da da da da" (much to Ryan's delight)
• Solid food. We started cereal at 5 months and he is now a pro. He
loves peas, carrots, apples and bananas. He gags on green beans, and I
really hate squash, because he gets painfully gassy. And that's not
fun for anyone.
• Hair. He has hair! Which must come from his daddy, because I was
bald until I was 2. And it is red hair. We didn't see that coming, but
it is so cute!
• He loves the stroller. It doesn't matter if we are walking around
the neighborhood, working in the backyard, or shopping at target. Odin
is a happy boy if he is in the stroller.
• Play time. He will play by himself! If I put him on the ground with
his toys, he will sit and play for half an hour. But he loves when
someone sits and plays with him.
• Puppy. Yes we got a dog, a little black lab named Bosco. And Odin
loves him. I was really nervous at first having a dog around my
precious baby, but Bosco is really sweet with him. And as I said
earlier, Odin loves him.
I can't believe our little Odin is half a year already! It has been
the hardest 6 months of my life, but definately the greatest.

First Rollercoaster Ride

Ok, it isn't a real rollercoaster, but Odin doesn't know that. We were out working on our new house, and Odin decided he had enough of the stroller. So Ryan thought it would be a good idea to throw him around in it. I about peed my pants when I saw what was happening, but then he was laughing so much, I decided to record it.

He Rolls!

Odin is growing up so fast. Just yesterday I was helping him roll from his back to his front. And today he just did it himself. Over. and. over. Before I know it, he will be walking.
